Experience of a Lifetime: Children from Rainbow of Love School Discover Real-World Professions at KidZania Kuala Lumpur

For a group of approximately 30 children from Rainbow of Love School, their dreams became a reality during an unforgettable day at KidZania Kuala Lumpur. Ranging in age from 9 to 16, these enthusiastic children were ecstatic to immerse themselves in various real-world occupations available at KidZania. From brave firefighters, skilled medical professionals, and dedicated policemen to aspiring cabin crew members, talented animators, and innovative robotics engineers, the children had the opportunity to explore a wide range of professions. They even tried their hand at trendy F&B operations, including crafting the ever-popular bubble tea drink.

Parked under the banner of Human Aid Selangor Society, the Rainbow of Love School is a sanctuary for asylum seekers and refugee children living in Malaysia. As one of the few places where these underserved children can receive an education, Rainbow of Love School aims to empower and broaden their horizons. Suu Balm and KidZania Kuala Lumpur collaborated to host the children, providing them with a day filled with enriching and hands-on learning activities.

In addition to exploring various professions, the children were also educated on skincare at Suu Balm's facility within KidZania Kuala Lumpur. They had the option to become junior skin experts or experience being customers receiving facial treatments. Witnessing the children's joyous and enthusiastic participation, Philip Whittaker, CEO of Sim Leisure Group, the operator of KidZania Kuala Lumpur, expressed his delight, stating, "Their eyes sparkled with excitement while engaging in all the activities offered here."

At KidZania, the goal is to nurture young minds and equip them with valuable lessons and essential life skills through play. Whittaker believes that hands-on play is one of the most effective and efficient ways to engage children of all ages. The children's visit to KidZania Kuala Lumpur not only provided them with a memorable experience but also imparted practical knowledge and fostered a love for learning.

By providing these children with the opportunity to explore different professions and learn through play, Suu Balm and KidZania Kuala Lumpur demonstrated their commitment to empowering underserved communities and encouraging lifelong learning. The collaboration between these organizations serves as a shining example of the positive impact that can be achieved when education, fun, and meaningful experiences come together.
