Application

Shampoo:
Apply 1-3 pumps, depending on your hair length, to your wet hair, then massage onto scalp and through to hair ends to gently cleanse. Leave in for several minutes for best effect, and then rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.

Conditioner:
After cleansing with Suu Balm Anti Dandruff Shampoo, apply evenly on hair strands to instantly detangle and smooth out hair from root to ends. If you have dry scalp, massage evenly into the scalp. Leave for 2-3 minutes to thoroughly moisturise the scalp and hair, then rinse well.
  • Recommended to be used after every hair wash.

1. The shampoo does not seem to have as much lather/foam as other shampoos. Why is this so?

Suu Balm’s shampoo is soap and sulfate-free, and uses very gentle cleansing ingredients so that it does not strip the scalp of moisture and cause irritation. However, these ingredients don’t produce as much lather or foam as harsher ingredients do. Just because there is no lather or foam, it doesn’t mean that it does not do its job in removing dirt and oil! 

2. If I don’t have dandruff, can I use this shampoo?

Yes, you can! The menthol in the shampoo helps to cool down your scalp especially in hot weather, and the triple-effect
moisturising agents in the shampoo will help to moisturise the scalp and condition your hair. This helps to keep your hair soft and manageable, without the usage of silicones! The anti-dandruff actives would not negatively affect scalps that are dandruff-free.

3. What are the benefits of using a silicone-free shampoo?

Silicones form a thin, waterproof coating around your hair cuticle. If not properly washed off, they block hydrating ingredients from moisturizing the hair. It can take several washes to remove the silicone deposits. Many other shampoos include silicones to reduce tangles, but Suu Balm’s shampoo provides hair softness/smoothness through conditioning agents instead.

4. Can this shampoo be used on children or babies?

Suu Balm’s shampoo was formulated for adults, with a cooling menthol effect to relieve itch. Babies and children might be more sensitive to this menthol sensation, and it is advised to test out tolerance via a small test patch.

5. What does Suu Balm conditioner do for my hair and scalp?

Suu Balm Conditioner conditions dry scalp reducing flaking, supports healthy microbiome restoration, and soothes the scalp. It also improves hydration and shine of hair, smoothens and detangles hair, reduces frizz and hair breakage.

6. If I don’t have dandruff, can I use this conditioner?

Yes, you can! The conditioner is suitable for all scalp types including normal hair for everyday maintenance in keeping the scalp.

7. Can this conditioner be used on children and infants?

Yes, the product is safe for children and infants. However, the conditioner should not be used as a leave on product and
extra care should be taken to prevent it from entering babies' eyes and mouth. 

8. Do I need to rinse off after spraying on my scalp?

No, you do not need to rinse off. After spraying directly on the targeted area, you can lightly massage it to spread it around the area.

9. How often can we use the scalp spray?

Suu Balm Scalp Spray can be used any time when your scalp is itchy, dry or flaking! There is no limit to the number of times you can use it in a day.
